Job Summary Our client, a leading ingredients manufacturer is searching for an experienced Distribution Center Manager to join their North Memphis TN team. We are seeking candidates with 5 years of leadership and change management experience in a distribution warehouse setting. Candidates with experience in perishable & FDA compliant facilities are highly desirable. Previous experience with ERP systems is an asset but not required. Please apply today! location: South Memphis, Tennessee job type: Permanent salary: $80,000 - 85,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School Responsibilities Direct the full talent lifecycle, including strategic hiring, comprehensive onboarding, and ongoing professional development for drivers, customer service, and warehouse personnel. Implement rigorous evaluation frameworks and disciplinary protocols to ensure high-level accountability and operational excellence. Manage branch P&L with a focus on payroll optimization, invoice accuracy, and fuel/mileage efficiency. Lead vendor negotiations and manage carrier expenses to maximize margin without compromising service quality. Uphold the highest industry standards, ensuring full compliance with FDA, BRC, and GMP requirements. Lead the facility through AIB audits and oversee the implementation of Food Safety Initiatives and Alchemy Training modules. Serve as the primary safety officer, conducting monthly warehouse inspections and facilitating quarterly safety summits for the driving team. Oversee DOT compliance, HOS monitoring, and licensing. Administer fuel program and lead investigations into violations or accidents to minimize organizational liability. Manage branch stock levels through sophisticated min/max modeling, lot rotation (FEFO/FIFO), and damage mitigation strategies. Supervise routing efficiency and ensure all individual customer specifications and delivery requirements are met with precision. Act as the project lead for internal system upgrades and the automation of certificates of analysis. Design and deploy sample kits and specialized training programs to enhance brand consistency.
