District Manager | Multi-Unit Leader (Confidential Search) Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 a year + Quarterly Bonus (Up to $30k/year) Job Type: Full-time Location: Greater Toledo Area (Perrysburg, Monroe, Stanton, I-475 Loop) About the Opportunity We are a premier, family-owned Convenience Store and Fuel Operator currently managing over 85 locations across NW Ohio and SE Michigan. With a strategic "runway to 150 stores" by 2030, we are aggressively expanding our footprint through acquisitions and a heavy focus on high-volume, branded foodservice concepts. We are seeking a high-energy, field-intensive District Manager to lead a critical 10–12 store district in the Greater Toledo market. This role reports directly to the VP of Operations and is designed for an operator who excels at building "bench depth" and driving P&L performance through rigorous discipline. Core Responsibilities District Leadership: Oversee 10–12 convenience stores spanning Perrysburg, Monroe, Stanton, and the I-475 loop. Build the Bench: Recruit, coach, and retain top talent. You will be responsible for developing AGMs and GMs for future promotion and identifying High Potential talent. P&L Ownership: Drive Sales YoY, EBITDA, and labor productivity. Maintain strict control over cash over/short, shrink, and store audits. Foodservice Execution: Lead the "Foodservice Play" across stores equipped with branded kitchens (Chicken, Pizza, and Bistro concepts). Loss Prevention: Execute daily reviews of cash reconciliation and exception reports. Conduct mid-shift audits, lottery audits, and inventory investigations. Field Discipline: Maintain a hands-on presence with documented store-visit agendas and 24/7 emergency response accountability. Required Experience & Skills Experience: 3+ years of multi-unit retail leadership. Direct Convenience Store / Fuel experience is strongly preferred , though QSR or high-discipline retail leaders will be considered. Technical Proficiency: PDI platform fluency is required. You must be comfortable with daily accounting, sales-to-purchase, and book vs. actual reconciliation. Foodservice Comfort: Experience managing multi-unit kitchen operations translates directly to our model. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) for interpreting performance metrics. Work Ethic: You must be a responsive, decisive, and field-intensive leader.
