About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 11 The Team: This is an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Corporates Divisional Account Management team, a focused, high-performing group at the center of Market Intelligence growth in Commercial Banking. Over the past several years, we've expanded both our capabilities and our client impact-and we're looking for someone who is energized by building trusted relationships, solving meaningful client problems, and helping financial corporates make better, faster decisions. The Impact: As an Account Manager, you'll partner closely with sales and internal product specialists to ensure clients realize measurable value from our Market Intelligence solutions, supporting workflows such as: Market and competitive monitoring: tracking macro events, peer performance, sector sentiment, and key market signals that influence strategy and client positioning Risk and exposure awareness: staying ahead of interest-rate, credit, and liquidity developments that inform risk discussions and portfolio decisions Client coverage and origination support: enabling bankers to walk into meetings better prepared with sharper context, timely news, and relevant peer benchmarks Treasury and balance-sheet decision support: improving how teams assess funding conditions, hedging considerations, and capital/return trade-offs Internal reporting and executive updates: streamlining how insights are packaged and shared for leadership, committees, and cross-functional stakeholders What's in it for you: The opportunity to step into a highly visible role at the center of Market Intelligence growth, directly influencing our success. Responsibilities: Own and grow a portfolio of Financial Corporate relationships, driving retention and net growth through proactive engagement and value delivery Partner with Sales experts on expansion and new business, identifying use cases, supporting renewals, and contributing directly to closing outcomes Translate client goals into actionable adoption plans, ensuring the right teams at the client are using the right capabilities in the right workflows Become a trusted advisor, recognized for bringing ideas, insight, and practical solutions-not just product knowledge All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week. What We're Looking For: The Account Management organization values partnership, relationships, and communication. It is crucial that you model these attributes. In addition, we are looking for: A strong commercial mindset with prior experience selling to, speaking to, or interacting with banking executives. A genuine interest in and ability to learn about financial corporates workflows and personas, developing the industry specific knowledge necessary to have credible diagnostic conversations Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills. Confidence in meetings, presentations and dealing with prospects and customers over the phone or in person Creative thinking and problem solving to drive solutions that address client needs across the D&R and RVS suite of solutions Highly proficient in MS Office and using CRM systems An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2-5 years of experience in Sales/business development with a focus on solution selling We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer. Compensation/Benefits Information: The anticipated base salary range for this position is 78,034 USD - 106,018 USD depending on location, experience, and skills.
