For more information on WisDOT you can visit our website by clicking here.The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is an organization dedicated to creating transportation solutions through innovation and exceptional service.We are committed to fostering an environment rooted in Integrity, Diversity, Excellence, and Accountability.Click here to learn more about how we apply these values in our work.Position Summary This LTE position is located at the Milwaukee Northeast Customer Service Center.The duties include:Processing applicants for license plate renewal stickers and/or application for duplicate photo identification card.Capturing applicant photos and signatures Interacting with customers to identify the reason for their visit Providing correct forms to customers Providing guidance to customers with incomplete forms Keeping the Customer Service Center supplied with forms and materials to process applicants for photos and other DMV operations This position is anticipated to work 25 hours to 40 hours per week.Salary Information This position is in schedule-range (02-09) with a salary of $19.10 per hour.Job Details This state agency does not sponsor work visas.This state agency is not enrolled in USCIS E-Verify and is not eligible to employ international F-1 students seeking STEM-OPT extension.Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check which may include FBI fingerprinting.This is a Limited Term Employment (LTE) position and limited to 1,039 hours in 26 consecutive pay periods (1 year).Wisconsin residency is required for Limited Term Employment positions.Limited Term Employment (LTE) positions are not civil service classified positions, do not give any rights to permanent civil service classified positions and do not lead to permanent status.Qualifications We are looking for a motivated individual with:Customer service experience Experience multi-tasking Experience working independently to complete tasks/duties Experience effectively communicating with people of varying backgrounds Experience with data entry How To Apply Apply online!
