Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Doctor of Rheumatology to join our dynamic healthcare team.In this vital role, you will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of rheumatic diseases, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.Your expertise will contribute to advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes through innovative approaches and multidisciplinary collaboration.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in rheumatologic health.Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations for rheumatic conditions.Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing advanced therapies such as biologics, DMARDs (Disease-Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs), and other medications.Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical imaging tools to monitor disease progression and treatment efficacy.Collaborate with specialists across disciplines such as immunology, dermatology, endocrinology, cardiology, and ophthalmology to ensure holistic patient care.Perform procedures including joint injections, aspiration, and suturing as needed for diagnosis and symptom relief.Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance rheumatology knowledge and improve therapeutic options.Educate patients on disease management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence while providing health coaching for optimal outcomes.Experience Proven experience working with EHR systems such as Epic or EMR platforms in a clinical setting.Demonstrated expertise in medical imaging techniques relevant to rheumatology diagnostics.Strong background in managing complex cases involving autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, or vasculitis.Experience with perioperative care related to joint surgeries or other rheumatologic procedures.Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures including vascular interventional radiography and catheterization techniques.Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient care environments within hospital or Level I trauma center settings.Additional experience in related fields such as dermatology, endocrinology, cardiology, or pulmonology is highly desirable to enhance multidisciplinary patient management.Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients battling rheumatic diseases!
