SmarterThanYourDog is seeking to hire a dog bather or to join our team. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be dependable, adaptable, and enjoy working as a team. We are looking for someone who is actively working as a bather or who has bathed in a high volume salon with in the past 12 months. Must be able to bath 6-10 dogs per day. Starting pay depends on expereince, bathers receive tips . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform grooming services such as bathing, drying, brushing, nail grinds/trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, gland expression Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort during grooming sessions Assess pets' skin and coat condition and report any abnormalities to manager and pet owners Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area. End of day cleaning to turn salon over for the next day. Answer the phone to receive and check in and out clients based on their appointment times Book and rebook clients to ensure consistency Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences Desired Qualifications: Previous experience in dog grooming, boarding, or daycare Experiencing answer the phone and greeting clients Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively Ability to lift heavy objects, such as large dogs or grooming equipment Effective time management skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Professional development assistance Application Question(s): Are you currently working as a Dog Bather?
