Job Description
Join our team supervising off-leash group play at North Charleston’s only dog park & bar. This is an active, outdoor role focused on dog behavior, safety, and guest support. We're actively hiring and moving quickly—apply today. What You’ll Do Supervise dog play groups—observe behavior, prevent scuffles, and intervene when needed Educate guests on park rules and dog body language Maintain cleanliness—pick up waste promptly, clean water stations, and disinfect turf Monitor the yard, gate, and check-in station via radio communication Stay on your feet outdoors in all weather (sun, rain, heat, cold) Schedule & Pay 20–32 hours/week Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required Pay based on experience: $12.50–$15.75/hr 90-day performance review with raise potential What You’ll Need 6+ months professional experience supervising off-leash dog groups (daycare, rescue, vet, or kennel) Confidence redirecting dog behavior and enforcing rules with guests Able to lift 50 lb and work outdoors in variable conditions 18+ required (21+ a plus for bar training eligibility) Strong work ethic, focus, and follow-through on shift Benefits & Perks Paid hands-on training Free off-shift dog park access for your pup if over 21 years old Employee discounts 401(k) eligibility Room to grow with our team as the park expands Broken Leash Dog Park & Bar is an equal opportunity employer.
