Responsibilities Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely and confidently, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure a stress-free grooming session Assess each pet's coat condition and skin health, providing recommendations for ongoing care or veterinary referrals when necessary Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions Assist with pet handling during appointments, demonstrating gentle yet secure animal handling skills Requirements At least, 3 years experience as a dog groomer Be puntual and no frequent call - outs Skilled in animal handling, restraint, and pet care practices to ensure safety for pets and staff alike Ability to lift heavy objects such as pets weighing up to 40 lbs comfortably and safely Must be a team player Pay:From $30.00 per hour Application Question(s): what is the reason left last job?
