Dog Groomer Position Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and detail oriented Dog Groomer to join our growing team.You will be responsible for grooming a wide variety of dog breeds.Ideal candidates are passionate about dog grooming, calm under pressure, and committed to a high standard of care.This position is open only to experienced dog groomers.Candidates must have professional grooming experience in a salon or mobile setting.Bathing or grooming pets at home does not qualify.About Us Doggy Days is a 9,000 sq ft indoor and outdoor dog care facility now under new ownership as of March 2026.With this transition, we are raising our standards across the board and building a team of reliable, hard working, and dog savvy individuals who take pride in their work.We are looking for team members who want to be part of something that is growing, improving, and setting a higher bar for dog care in the area.What Sets Us Apart We have additional staff available to support our groomers by handling washes, nail trims, and other simple services.This allows you to focus on the most profitable services such as full service grooms and haircuts.Grooming is offered seven days a week, and you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule based on your income goals.We offer standard market commission on grooming services, and all supplies are provided.Responsibilities Perform full service grooming including bathing, drying, haircuts, ear cleaning, nail trims, and gland expression Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and workstations Work closely with the training and kennel teams to understand each dog's needs and temperament Communicate effectively with clients about grooming needs, services, and outcomes Follow safety and handling protocols for dogs with behavioral sensitivities Keep accurate grooming records Duties Include Full service grooms, full service baths, and breed standard cuts Building relationships with clients and their dogs Recommending appropriate grooming styles for each dog Managing a busy grooming schedule and communicating progress Maintaining a clean grooming space Organizing and updating client profiles Qualifications Experience grooming a wide variety of dog sizes and breeds Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients professionally Responsible with strong attention to detail Strong work ethic Upbeat and positive attitude Must love dogs Compensation and Schedule Pay rate:Commission based Schedule:Set your own hours with full flexibility Supplies:Fully provided If you're a skilled groomer looking for a flexible environment where you can maximize your earnings and be part of a growing, high standard team, we'd love to hear from you.Pay:$150.00 - $250.00 per day Benefits:Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
