About us Furry Detaiz is a small business in Port Allen, LA.We are professional grooming salon that focuses on creative cuts, hair coloring, as well as regular pet grooming for dog and cats!.Our work environment includes:Modern office setting Growth opportunities Responsibilities: Provide professional grooming services to a variety of pets, including dogs and cats- Perform bathing, brushing, and styling of fur according to client preferences- Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other basic grooming tasks- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area Qualifications: Previous experience as a pet groomer or completion of a grooming program is a must- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners and address their needs- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion, especially those that may be anxious or aggressive- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time Please note that this job may also involve additional responsibilities related to pet sitting or working in a kennel.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay:$800.00 - $2,500.00 per week Expected hours:25 - 40 per week Benefits:Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience:Pet grooming:1 year (Required) Work Location:In person.
