We are looking for a super-talented, super-friendly and conscientious pet groomer who can help keep our clients' babies looking clean and gorgeous.This is a competitive position and we are looking only for the very best groomers (portfolio required).That said, there are multiple opportunities for career development and advancement in this role.Your duties will include - but are not limited to - listening carefully to pet owners' instructions and accommodating special requests as you bathe animals of various sizes and temperaments, clip/grind their nails, and shave/de-mat/trim/ and/or cut their hair.This is a mobile grooming position.We do offer the option to work 5 days - 8 hour shifts or 4 days - 10 hour shifts.We are offering up to $5,000 as a hiring bonus and $7,500 in additional performance based pay.To be considered, you MUST apply on our website:https://backyardpetservices.com/pet-groomer-application/ Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Certification through the National Dog Groomer Association of America is advantageous.Proven professional grooming experience.Sound understanding of animal behavior.The ability to stand for long periods of time.The ability to treat all animals with compassion.The ability to lift heavy pets and equipment.Excellent communication skills.Exceptional customer service skills.Pet Groomer Requirements:Your personal set of grooming tools and equipment that are in good working condition.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$80,000.00 - $105,624.00 per year Benefits:Employee discount Paid time off Professional development assistance Work Location:In person.
