OverviewJoin our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Groomer, where your passion for animals and grooming expertise will create happy, healthy, and beautifully cared-for dogs.In this energetic role, you'll provide professional grooming services that enhance each pet's appearance and comfort while ensuring a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.Your dedication to animal care and customer service will help build lasting relationships with pet families and contribute to our welcoming community.Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Handle dogs with care and confidence, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Conduct pet assessments to determine grooming needs, health concerns, or special handling requirements Maintain a clean, organized grooming station and sanitize tools regularly to uphold hygiene standards Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming procedures, aftercare instructions, and any health concerns observed during grooming Experience Prior dog grooming experience is required ; certification from a recognized grooming program is a plus Knowledge of dog handling techniques and canine behavior management Familiarity with pet grooming tools, animal restraint methods, and kennel procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners Physical ability to perform heavy lifting of animals and equipment safely throughout the day Join us in delivering exceptional pet grooming services that leave every dog looking great and feeling loved!
