Duties Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog’s breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each pet’s coat, skin, and overall health, alerting owners to any concerns that may require veterinary attention or further care Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in excellent condition Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences, aftercare instructions, and any health observations Assist with pet handling during drop-off and pick-up processes, demonstrating gentle care and professionalism at all times Support team members with additional animal handling tasks such as pet sitting or kennel duties when needed Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is required Familiarity with animal restraint methods, pet care routines, and kennel operations is beneficial Heavy lifting necessary for this role Strong customer service skills combined with a genuine love for animals are essential for success in this energetic position Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
