About us Canine Social Club is a dog daycare facility in the Lincoln Square area. Canine Social Club, a dog daycare, boarding and grooming facility located in Lincoln Square is searching for a FULL-TIME kennel dog handler/attendant who can handle large groups of dogs and are animal lovers. We are looking to fill day shift - no overnights . Punctuality and dependability is important. Attention to detail, reliability and multi-tasking abilities are a must. General kennel cleaning skills required. Living nearby is a plus or have reliable transportation. We offer health insurance for our full time employees as well as paid sick days. A typical day at Canine Social Club includes: -delivering high quality dog care -supervising dogs while in playgroup -prepping meals, administering medications, help checking in and out our guests cleaning indoor play areas as well as kennel/housing area. JOB REQUIREMENTS Leader of the pack mentality A positive, up-beat attitude toward our dogs, customers and coworkers. Dependable and on-time with good work history Able to pass background check Able to take control and remain calm under pressure. Comfortable being active and on your feet Physically able to handle medium-duty cleaning, handling large dogs, picking up after dogs Reliable transportation to work. Able to work weekends and holidays. Please be physically able to lift, be on your feet for a few hours, bending and quick on your feet. Prior work experience at a pet daycare, boarding facility or veterinary office is preferred.
