Job Overview Join our team as a Dog Walker in lower and midtown Manhattan and become a part of providing exceptional pet care and exercise for our pup clients! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring dogs receive engaging walks, proper handling, and attentive care to keep them safe and happy. You will be working outdoors rain or shine, and our walking hours are between 7am-8pm. Duties Lead engaging and safe walks for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety at all times Handle dogs confidently to manage different behaviors effectively Pick up dog waste during walks Assist with pet sitting duties on holiday weekends during in-house sits, including feeding, administering medication, and walking Maintain clear communication with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities, behavior, and any concerns via our app Support dog training efforts by reinforcing commands and encouraging positive behavior during walks Perform animal handling tasks with patience and professionalism, ensuring comfort for each pet while adhering to safety protocols Must have availability to commit for 6+ months Must have working smartphone Bicycle a plus but not necessary Expectations to give dogs your full attention during walks - no texting or having headphones in while you're out with them We are willing to train if you've never had dog walking experience, we are just looking for someone who loves dogs and is eager to get out and go! This is a 1099 position, and all applicants must be eligible to work in the USA Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits Paid training Work Location: In person
