Grandma's Hug - We're here to provide unwavering support and comfort, offering unconditional backing in tough times.These principles are the foundation of IRONWOOD.They guide us in our daily work and inspire us to exceed expectations.JOB TITLE:DOT Coordinator (Remote) LOCATION:Midland/Odessa, TX Preferred SCHEDULE:M-F, Day Shift (8:00am - 5:00pm) SALARY:$40,000-$60,000 TRAVEL:20-30% REPORTS TO:DOT Services Manager FLSA STATUS:Exempt Summary:The Department of Transportation (DOT) Coordinator has a dynamic role focused on assisting in the development and implementation of DOT strategies for IRONWOOD Business Consulting (IRONWOOD).This position provides advice and counsel to DOT professionals and managers on moderate to complex issues via remote and onsite consultation.The DOT Coordinator will provide counseling on issues such as Federal and State Department of Transportation regulations, inspections, and compliance.The DOT Coordinator will be responsible for assessing and prioritizing issues to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely resolution of DOT issues, permitting requirements, FMCSA guidance, fleet safety, investigations, and policy interpretation questions.This position plays a key role in coordinating DOT projects, ensuring consistency across various channels, and supporting the DOT team in executing effective DOT initiatives.Essential Functions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Supports IRONWOOD's overall mission, vision, and core values through assisting with the DOT department's needs.Seeks out industry best practices, effective, and efficient methods to achieve operational excellence in DOT compliance.Promotes a consistent and best practices approach to client issues, adherence to policies, compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements and standards, and carries out project work in support of departmental initiatives.Provides internal and external consultation and guidance on various transportation topics and provides resources and support as needed.Recommends best practices for related areas such as permitting requirements, FMCSA, inspections, drug and alcohol policies, fleet safety, and other transportation regulations and policies.Develops and delivers internal or external training on various DOT and professional development topics.Assist clients with filing, maintaining, and renewing DOT forms and permits.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and recent technologies regarding DOT functions, safety, and
