Description Perform thorough evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient contexts and craft customized treatment strategies Deliver physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Work in tandem with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and at-home exercises Maintain meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress, adhering to facility and regulatory demands Engage in interdisciplinary conferences and care team discussions to facilitate coordinated care Education Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution Certifications State-level licensure as a Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred Specialty certifications
