Who We Are The Marine Structures & Engineering Section provides engineering R&D services for commercial and government customers. We design, analyze, fabricate, and commission pressure vessels of various types for land-based, subsea, manned, and unmanned purposes. Role Objectives of this Role: Develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings and models for pressure vessels, structures, and mechanical systems. Apply ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards to ensure parts are fully defined and manufacturable. Execute and maintain engineering change processes, including incorporation of redlines and revision control. Ensure drawings and models align with fabrication, inspection, and quality requirements. Apply ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards to ensure parts are fully defined and manufacturable. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Work directly with engineers to clarify design intent and resolve technical questions. Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using Creo and SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve design and documentation issues. Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or an Associates degree in Computer Aided Design or related field. 4+ years: Creating detailed mechanical drawings in a production or engineering environment. 4+ years: Proficiency in Creo and/or SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawing generation. 2+ years: Familiarity with fabrication processes (machining, welding, inspection). A valid/clear driver's license is required. Requirements Special Requirements: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
