We are currently recruiting a Drafting technologist to join our dedicated outfitting team at our Vancouver, BC location. Responsibilities Create and develop engineering designs and technical drawings using initial concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other reference materials. Build Building Information Models with specialized software to produce digital representations of structural and functional elements of buildings and other engineering projects. Use computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and drafting workstations. Use Navisworks tools Produce design sketches and layout concepts. Prepare full documentation packages and complete sets of drawings. Review and validate drawings to ensure they meet specifications and design requirements. Write technical documentation and reports. Produce construction specifications, cost estimates, and material quantities. Oversee and train junior technologists, technicians, and drafting staff.
