Job Overview As a Driver Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of goods.You'll work closely with drivers to assist in loading and unloading cargo, maintaining safety standards, and providing exceptional service to our customers.Your energetic support will help keep operations running seamlessly, making every delivery a success! What you'll do Assist drivers with loading and unloading cargo from commercial vehicles, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently. Help navigate routes and provide communication support to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle to promote safety and efficiency. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed during loading and unloading activities. Support the driver in managing paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations. Basic qualifications Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with drivers and customers. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings. Preferred qualifications Experience in commercial driving or delivery driver roles is a plus. Familiarity with operating various types of vehicles, including box trucks, flatbeds, or dump trucks. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Previous experience in warehouse operations or freight handling is advantageous.
