Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages from box trucks using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed Help ensure accurate and efficient route driving by supporting the driver in navigating delivery schedules Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage, handling heavy lifting with proper safety procedures Support the driver in securing loads and verifying delivery manifests before departing for each route Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing courteous assistance and answering basic questions about shipments Maintain safety standards by following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols during route driving Help keep delivery vehicles organized, clean, and well-maintained throughout the shift Qualifications Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or courier experience is a plus Ability to operate a box truck with manual transmission confidently and safely Experience with heavy lifting, moving, or using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude when interacting with customers and team members Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform manual tasks throughout the day Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures to ensure efficient deliveries Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy makes a difference!
