Driver Helper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Driver's Helper to assist our drivers in various transportation tasks. The ideal candidate will support the driver in the safe and efficient operation of vehicles while ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. Assisting the Driver in loading and unloading furniture and appliances. Participating in the assembly and setup of delivered items with attention to detail. Providing courteous and attentive customer service throughout the delivery process. Collaborating with the Driver to ensure efficient route navigation and timely deliveries. Supporting the Driver in connecting water and gas lines for appliances as needed Responsibilities Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods or materials Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any issues promptly Help navigate routes and provide directions as needed Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior Communicate effectively with the driver and customers -Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks. -Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. -Must be able to pass a background and drug test. -Must be reliable and timely. -Helper must be able to pass a background check by having no felonies on their record in the last 10 years and no misdemeanors involving drugs, theft, or violence. They must also have a social security card. -Basic understanding of assembly tools and procedures.
