We provide safe and reliable non-emergency medical transportation for clients traveling to medical appointments, dialysis, hospital discharges, prescription pick-ups, and other healthcare-related destinations. This is a flexible opportunity for drivers who want weekly pay, independence, and the ability to make a difference in their community. Job Type Independent Contractor Full-Time or Part-Time Flexible Scheduling Weekly Pay Job Duties Transport clients safely to and from medical appointments Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service Follow all safety procedures and HIPAA confidentiality guidelines Keep vehicle clean and inspection-ready Communicate with dispatch regarding trip updates and scheduling Transport wheelchair clients when assigned Driver Requirements Valid Driver’s License Clean Driving Record (MVR Check Required) Reliable Vehicle Vehicle Insurance Smartphone with GPS capability Ability to pass Background Check Drug Test (5 Panel) Chauffeur License Social Security Card Fingerprinting CPR Certification (In-Person Only) Wheelchair Transport Certification (Online Accepted) Defensive Driving Certification HIPAA Training Preferred Qualifications Previous transportation, rideshare, delivery, or medical transport experience Professional attitude and strong communication skills Dependable and punctual Why Join Merritt’s Medical Transport?
