Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver goods across designated routes Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual handling techniques Navigate route driving efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries Manage delivery documentation, including manifests, delivery receipts, and route logs Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance Assist with warehouse activities when necessary, including moving items and organizing inventory Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route planning and navigation Experience operating box trucks or similar large vehicles with manual transmission capabilities Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to lift heavy items safely, including heavy lifting during loading/unloading processes Warehouse experience is preferred, especially familiarity with forklifts or pallet jacks (certification is a plus) Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines Embark on a rewarding journey as an independent contractor driver—where your skills drive success and your independence fuels your career growth!
