Job Description
Description We are currently seeking a skilled DSCR Underwriting Manager to join Our Client in Charlotte. As the DSCR Underwriting Manager, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and evaluating debt service coverage ratios for commercial real estate projects. Your work will directly impact the company's decision-making process and financial success, making this role vital to our operations. You will be involved in a variety of projects, including assessing the financial viability of real estate investments, conducting risk analysis, and providing recommendations to senior management. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and profitability of Huffman Associates while honing your underwriting skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Analyze debt service coverage ratios for commercial real estate transactions. Evaluate financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant financial data. Assess risks associated with real estate investments and recommend risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure underwriting standards are met. Prepare detailed underwriting reports and present findings to stakeholders. Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and best practices in underwriting. Manage a team of underwriters and provide guidance and support as needed. Contribute to the development and improvement of underwriting processes and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. Proven experience in commercial real estate underwriting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent knowledge of debt service coverage ratios and financial analysis. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in financial modeling and underwriting software. Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team.
