Employer Industry: Government Services Why Consider This Job Opportunity Salary up to $117,120.00 annually Flexible/hybrid work schedule with at least one day per week on-site Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement plans Chance to lead high-visibility public works projects that impact communities across Washington state What To Expect (Job Responsibilities) Act as senior project manager for complex, high-visibility public works projects across multiple state institutions and facilities Supervise a team of construction project coordinators and architects, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Develop and implement comprehensive policies and standard operating procedures across departments Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and compliance using effective project management tools Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including executive leadership and operational teams What Is Required (Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a closely related field At least six years of progressive relevant professional experience in leading complex design, construction, or operational initiatives Equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least ten years may be considered Strong understanding of construction practices, contracts, and project documentation Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage work across the full project lifecycle How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Formal project management training preferred Experience using Lean principles or similar methods for process improvement Proficiency with project and budget mapping software and communication tools such as Teams and Zoom Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence teams in complex environments Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors #GovernmentJobs #ProjectManagement #CareerOpportunity #FlexibleWork #PublicWorks "We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
