Job OverviewJoin our dynamic team as a Food Service Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a vibrant, welcoming environment for our customers.In this role, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving delicious food in a quick-service setting.Your multitasking skills and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations, from food preparation to cashiering and maintaining food safety standards.This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy engaging with people.Responsibilities Prepare a variety of food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process transactions accurately while providing friendly customer service.Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales, demonstrating product knowledge confidently.Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing registers at the end of shifts.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations.Assist with food prep, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure quick service delivery.Engage with customers in a positive manner, addressing questions or concerns promptly to foster loyalty and satisfaction.Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly preferred.Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing.Strong understanding of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.Experience working in a retail or grocery store environment is a plus, especially involving cashiering or customer service roles.Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service standards.Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations are essential.Prior kitchen experience or serving background helps in understanding the fast-paced nature of the role.This position offers an energetic environment where your skills will directly contribute to creating memorable customer experiences.We value teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude--if you're ready to bring your passion for food and service to a lively team, we want to hear from you!
