Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator JOB DESCRIPTION LINK As an Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator with Special School District (SSD), you will help shape inclusive early learning experiences for young children across partner districts in St. Louis County. In this leadership role, you will support special education teams, guide programming and services, and collaborate with families, administrators, and educators to ensure students receive meaningful, high-quality support during their earliest years of learning. You will oversee program operations, supervise staff, support professional growth, and work closely with district leaders to strengthen instructional programming and student outcomes. Through thoughtful planning, strong communication, and partnership building, you will help ensure early childhood special education services are responsive, effective, and aligned to the needs of students, families, and school communities. This coordinator will serve the North region of St. Louis County. Special School District serves nearly 25,000 students and employs over 5,700 staff in St. Louis County.
