Job Summary And Qualifications As an Echo Cardiographer, you will perform procedures in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner. You will also contribute to physician diagnosis. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now! Your tasks and responsibilities include: You will verify physician order and review patient’s cardiac history prior to the procedure. You will prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures. You will collect clear data for physician analysis of cardiac structure and functioning. You will ensure reports are processed and report data is provided to physician at completion of procedure. You will maintain effective communication with patient; provides explanation procedures within scope of practice. You will maintain proactive and effective communication with cardiologist regarding any unusual clinical findings or history. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited; approved program in Sonography Registry/registry eligible from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) BLS and ACLS One to three years’ experience Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical Benefits HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
