About the Position The Economics Department at Western Washington University maintains a vacancy pool from which qualified candidates will be selected to fill full and part-time, non-tenure track positions. Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled as they become available. Typically our greatest need is for candidates with experience teaching in the following fields: Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics. There may be an opportunity to teach additional courses at the upper division level depending on the qualifications and experience of the applicant. Required Qualifications Master's degree Demonstrated successful experience in teaching Academically or professionally qualified in accordance with College and AACSB standards Demonstrated ability and commitment to cultivating learning environments that are equitable and inclusive of students with diverse social identities and backgrounds Preferred Qualifications PhD Conditions of Employment All employees must comply with our Immunization policies, including Proof of Rubeola Measles Immunity within 60-days of hire.
