Editorial & Creative Writing Intern Focus Areas Creative writing Editorial storytelling Newsletter writing Substack content Email marketing Brand voice development Lifestyle and educational content Responsibilities Write and edit newsletter and Substack content Support email marketing campaigns and launches Assist with brand storytelling across platforms Develop lifestyle, educational, and founder-led content Brainstorm content themes, series, and editorial concepts Help maintain brand voice consistency across written content Portfolio Outcomes Published editorial and newsletter content Email marketing and copywriting experience Brand storytelling portfolio pieces Editorial strategy and content planning exposure Ownership Areas Newsletter drafts and scheduling Substack content support Editorial calendars Written campaign support Copy organization and documentation Program Structure Timeline Start: Jun 1, 2026 End: August 14, 2026 Duration: 2.5 months Onboarding First week of program we will: Brand immersion Understanding the SevenThirty approach to intentional planning and productivity Systems/tools onboarding Role expectations Goal setting + project assignment Time Commitment Approximately 10–15 hours per week Participation in weekly team check-ins and co-working sessions Hybrid opportunities available for Chicago-based interns Flexible availability during launches, pop-ups, activations, and content shoot days as needed Weekly Team Check-Ins Weekly meetings covering Weekly priorities Project updates Wins/challenges KPI review Feedback + collaboration Upcoming launches/events/content Dedicated weekly co-working and collaboration days Monthly Meetings & Experiences Designed to support collaboration, creativity, growth, and team connection. Paid opportunities throughout the internship program may be available through support at events, pop-ups, activations, content shoots, and additional project-based work.
