Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various settings including industrial and commercial sites Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution Conduct low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and ensure system integrity Support construction activities by framing carpentry and other related tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints, and construction site safety practices Ability to read technical drawings and interpret schematics accurately Experience with low voltage systems and understanding of NEC standards is a plus Comfortable working on construction sites with exposure to high voltage environments under supervision Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork This paid apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the foundational skills needed for a successful career in electrical trades.
