Electrical Commissioning Agent (CxA) Location: Denver, Colorado Work Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 Months to Start) Schedule: 90%+ Onsite | 40-50 Hours per Week Industry: Mission-Critical / Data Center Construction Compensation: Up to $14,000/month including per diem, depending on experience and qualifications About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Agent (CxA) to support large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects. This role is responsible for validating, testing, and supporting the startup of electrical systems to ensure they are installed and operating according to project requirements and design specifications. This is a hands-on field role focused on commissioning, troubleshooting, startup coordination, and system performance verification in high-performance environments. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical commissioning activities from design review through project turnover Support startup, testing, energization, and validation of electrical systems Execute Functional Performance Testing (FPT) and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and sequences of operation Coordinate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and project stakeholders Perform field inspections, system walkdowns, and punch list management Verify installation quality and operational readiness of electrical systems Maintain commissioning logs, reports, and turnover documentation Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution during startup phases Follow all applicable safety standards and procedures, including OSHA and LOTO practices Required Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in commissioning, startup, field engineering, or related electrical systems work Strong understanding of: Switchgear UPS systems Generators MCCs Power distribution systems PLC/DCS or controls systems Experience working in one or more of the following environments: Data centers Industrial facilities LNG / Oil & Gas Semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facilities Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with commissioning platforms such as CxAlloy, BIM360, or Facility Grid Military or Naval nuclear experience is highly preferred OSHA, NFPA, or commissioning-related certifications are a plus Flexibility to travel as project needs require Benefits & Equal Opportunity Statement Founded in 2009, IntelliPro is a global talent solutions and HR services company with operations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
