Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems and components. Your expertise will drive the creation of cutting-edge solutions across various projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your contributions will be instrumental in advancing our technological capabilities and delivering impactful solutions. Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, and system architecture using AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and other CAD tools. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot electrical issues in prototypes and manufacturing environments; perform debugging using tools such as oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and signal analyzers. Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components within mechanical assemblies; utilize Revit and MicroStation for system modeling. Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of design milestones; coordinate with manufacturing teams to facilitate surface mount technology (SMT) assembly and surface mount component soldering processes. Ensure compliance with electrical standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code) while adhering to safety protocols during design and testing phases. Support manufacturing by providing technical guidance on PCB fabrication, soldering techniques (including surface mount technology), and assembly procedures involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or ARM-based microcontrollers like Arduino or similar platforms. Experience Proven experience in electrical engineering roles with a focus on system design, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment. Strong background in PCB design using AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation; experience with schematic capture tools is essential. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques (including reflow soldering), and quality inspection methods like vision systems or vision inspection systems. Mechanical knowledge related to integrating electrical components within mechanical assemblies; experience with CAD tools like SolidWorks is a plus. Familiarity with electrical standards such as NEC regulations; experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or ARM microcontrollers is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills demonstrated through root cause analysis and debugging complex electronic systems; ability to perform comprehensive signal processing analysis is preferred. Join us if you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of electrical engineering through innovative design, rigorous testing, and collaborative problem-solving!
