Job Description
One of the world's largest automotive companies is searching for an Electrical Engineering Specialist to join their technical Infotainment Testing team onsite at their facility in Chattanooga, TN . In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring state-of-the-art infotainment and connectivity solutions are flawlessly integrated and functioning across the fleet. Your testing and analysis will directly impact both the technology experience and reliability of vehicles on the road, engaging with global engineering colleagues and dynamic hands-on environments every day. This exciting opportunity to advance automotive technology begins as an ongoing W2 contract offering competitive benefits (including holidays and PTO ), which is intended to renew at the end of each calendar year. Onsite work is required at their Chattanooga, TN facility, and you will frequently travel to supplier facilities and conduct on the road testing. Responsibilities: Perform hands-on static and dynamic test evaluation of radio, media, and connectivity functions tailored for the North American market. Document, report, and analyze functional errors and work directly with international engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain test equipment, vehicles, and benches to required version levels, implementing necessary upgrades in collaboration with the team. Communicate critical test results and findings to project stakeholders, ensuring issues are clearly understood and tracked through resolution. Upload and track technical documentation in centralized databases, following best practices for transparency and collaboration.
