About the Opportunity We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join a well established and growing team in the Kansas City market. This is a role for someone who is detail oriented, driven, and looking to grow within the electrical construction space. You will play a key role in building accurate, competitive estimates while working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring projects together from the early stages. This opportunity is well suited for someone with estimating experience or a strong field background who is looking to transition into or further develop within the estimating side of the business. What You Will Be Doing Review project plans and specifications to build complete and accurate estimates Develop material and labor cost breakdowns for proposals Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to gather and evaluate pricing Analyze equipment and system costs, including opportunities for value engineering Review project scope for potential risks and cost considerations Assist in pricing general conditions and indirect project costs Maintain and update historical cost data to support future estimates Prepare and present detailed proposals to internal stakeholders Next Steps If you have experience in electrical estimating or are coming from the field and looking to move into an office based role, this is a strong opportunity to grow your career in a stable and expanding market. Requirements Two or more years of experience in electrical estimating or relevant field experience Background in electrical construction, either in the field or office Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Comfortable working in an in office environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with Trimble Accubid will set you apart from other Preferred Skills: Background in the field as an Electrician, Foreman, or General Foreman Strong understanding of job site logistics, labor productivity, and project flow Ability to identify risks and think beyond just material takeoffs Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Full time, stable opportunity within a growing market Comprehensive benefits package including strong healthcare coverage Long term career growth within a well established organization Relocation support available for the right candidate
