Job Description
Experience with semiconductor facilities, mission critical projects, data centers, industrial manufacturing, or cleanroom construction environments and tool hookup work is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Install electrical conduit, wire, cable tray, panels, devices, and related electrical systems. Perform electrical work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, NEC requirements, project standards, and supervisor direction. Support electrical installation for commercial, industrial, cleanroom, and semiconductor projects. Assist with semiconductor tool hookup work, including power, control wiring, grounding, labeling, and field coordination, when applicable. Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, and installation details. Perform layout, measuring, bending, cutting, threading, and installation of conduit systems. Pull wire, terminate conductors, install devices, and support testing activities. Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, other trades, and client representatives to complete assigned work safely and efficiently. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, client site safety rules, cleanroom protocols, and permit procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area and support 6S or other site housekeeping requirements. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, material shortages, drawing conflicts, and work issues to supervision. Support inspections, punch list work, commissioning support, and closeout activities as required. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 4 years of proven electrical field experience. Experience as an Electrical Journeyman or equivalent field role. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and installation details. Knowledge of NEC requirements and standard electrical construction practices. Experience installing conduit, wire, cable tray, panels, grounding, and electrical devices. Ability to safely work around energized and de-energized electrical systems in accordance with company policies and applicable safety standards. Ability to use electrical hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and basic layout tools. Must be able to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers. Must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in semiconductor construction is a plus. Experience with tool hookup work is a plus. Experience working in cleanroom or controlled environments is a plus. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus. NFPA 70E awareness or electrical safety training is a plus. Experience with industrial power, controls, instrumentation, or low-voltage systems is a plus. Current electrical journeyman license or certification is preferred, where applicable by state, project, or client requirement. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and work from ladders or lifts. Ability to lift and carry materials and tools up to 50 lbs, as needed. Ability to work in active construction areas, cleanrooms, mechanical/electrical rooms, and industrial environments. Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, and additional task-specific PPE as required. Ability to work overtime, weekends, night shift, or adjusted schedules when required by the project. Safety Requirements Safety is a condition of employment. The Electrical Journeyman must follow all AIS safety policies, client safety requirements, OSHA rules, site permits, lockout/tagout requirements, and electrical safe work practices. Employees are required to stop work and notify supervision if they believe a task cannot be performed safely.
