Position Description:The Mechanical Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customers' location, communicating via phone, conducting video calls to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with paint booth or related equipment along with additional service needs identified.The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.Extensive travel in the region as well as occasional overnight and out of state is required.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Replace booth componentry function & basic troubleshooting Use Multimeters to check for Vac, Vdc, milliamps, ohms Use Ammeters to take amperage readings. Identify control components such as contactors, relays, overloads, fuses, etc. Diagnose and repair basic to intermediate issues involving electrical, pneumatic, airflow, and burner systems. Effectively communicate in person, via phone, video, and by email with customers to provide updates, discuss findings, and ensure satisfaction Troubleshoots/diagnose issues in person, via phone or video for basic to intermediate issues Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to perform accurate repairs. Use diagnostic tools and evaluate data to accurately identify system root cause issues and determine corrective actions/resolution. Fix defective or broken products or order the necessary parts to replace faulty or worn-out parts with prior approval from management Basic VFD programming/setup Identify additional service needs during inspections or repairs and communicate them to management or customers. Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, parts used, and work performed Adhere to company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Identify & communicate safety concerns and hazards to appropriate internal and external management. Successfully perform & execute equipment start-up procedures Filter Servicing as needed Required Qualifications: 2 or more years of experience in a Service Technician or related job. Must be able to use a voltmeter. Proven strong customer service and communication skills. Experience in a manufacturing organization is preferred. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to work independently. Managing time on service calls with patience and not rushing the job. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in a situation. Current good driving record with a valid driver's license. Proficient user of MS Office including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel. Experience and demonstrated success providing customer service and working closely with customers to achieve common goals.Physical Requirements This position involves significant manual labor and requires the ability to perform the following physical activities: Manual Dexterity and Repetitive Motion:Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and upper body movements and maintain fine motor control necessary for tool operation, equipment adjustments, and material handling throughout the work shift. Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, and Pulling:Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 80 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Reaching and Mobility:Ability to reach overhead, above shoulder level, and below the waist; walk continuously throughout the facility; and regularly bend, stand, kneel, crouch, and stoop for extended periods. Climbing and Elevated Work:Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work at elevated heights while maintaining balance and stability. Tool and Equipment Operation:Ability to safely and proficiently operate small and large manual and powered tools required for assigned tasks. Driving and Vehicle Operation:Ability to operate a company vehicle for extended periods, including long distance travel; must be able to sit for prolonged durations, maintain sustained attention, safely navigate varying traffic and weather conditions, and load and unload tools or materials as required. Envi
