ELECTRICAL SENIOR DESIGNER – Greenville, SC Location: Greenville, SC Duration: 1 year with renewal options Positions Available: 8 US Citizenship Required JOB SUMMARY: The Electrical Senior Designer provides technical design expertise in support of electrical engineering projects. This role performs design assignments of intermediate complexity and supports the development of electrical design deliverables within a multi-discipline project environment. The position contributes to project execution by producing accurate design documentation, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and requirements. DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: The Electrical Senior Designer performs design work involving the preparation and modification of electrical drawings and related documentation using 3D modeling and 2D CADD tools. Responsibilities include supporting the development of design deliverables, coordinating with engineering disciplines, project management, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues, and ensuring designs meet project specifications and codes. The role prepares material take-offs, supports procurement activities through review of vendor submittals, and assists during construction phases by responding to RFIs and incorporating field changes into design documentation. The designer may also assist with field walkdowns, interpretation of existing systems, and development of updated drawings. The position supports project execution by ensuring alignment with scope, cost, and schedule requirements. WORK HOURS: A standard 40-hour work week is expected. Additional schedule details will be provided by the client. Overtime may be required to meet project deliverables. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education: Associate degree in a related technical field required. Experience / Skills: Minimum ten (10) years of related design experience Working knowledge of electrical design principles and practices Experience supporting industrial or EPC projects Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary teams Candidate must possess experience with: Preparation and modification of electrical design drawings 2D CADD and 3D modeling tools Electrical systems such as grounding, lighting, wiring, and raceways Material take-offs and design documentation Supporting construction and field-related design updates OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Citizenship required Ability to work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience supporting DOE or Federal Government projects Nuclear design experience under NQA-1 requirements Proficiency with tools such as MicroStation or Smart3D Practical field or construction experience Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or similar environments ACTION REQUIRED Please apply by uploading your resume using the link provided.
