Your Opportunity The MCF (Mission Critical Facilities) Senior Project Engineer, Electrical guides the electrical technical design of data center projects as subject matter expert, mentor, and resource to the technical team. Position delegates, leads, and directs work of Project Engineers and Designers. Role will conceptualize, execute, and ensure quality throughout the design process to meet our clients’ needs and expectations. The Senior Project Engineer will also have Supervisor and Mentor responsibilities for junior staff and be a resource to other project engineers. The data center industry is continually evolving, and this is an ideal opportunity for candidates who enjoy working on technically challenging projects that require cutting edge designs. Aside from the preferred locations listed, this position is open to any location with a Stantec office presence, for the right candidate. Your Key Responsibilities Assists the business development team in new project pursuits by providing input on RFPs/RFQs and participates in project interviews and presentations. Manages technical project process and scope of work within own discipline; reviews and tracks scope, schedule, and budgeted hours; finds and resolves all inconsistencies with project manager. Delegates tasks to project engineers and designers within own discipline as appropriate.
