Job title: Electrical Test Engineer Location: Virginia, USA Annual Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per annum U.S. Citizen or permanent residence required Relocation Assistance Provided Company overview & Job Title: Due to ongoing success and growth a Hi-Tech engineering company located in Virginia (USA) who specialise in the industry of Space, Aviation and Aerospace for Satellite Electronics are seeking to hire a new Electrical Test Engineer to join the growing team and business. The ideal Test Engineer will have a back ground in Electrical/Electronic Hardware . Salary on offer: The annual salary on offer for the successful Electrical Test Engineer is $100,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. Summary of the Electrical Test Engineering Role: The successful Electrical Test Engineer to support the full test lifecycle for satellite avionics hardware that will include Design test interface boards (TIBs) for board-level functional, environmental, and performance verification. Electrical Test Engineer Key Skills: Education - Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Fresh out of college/University and have up to 5 years minimum experience Experience in hardware test engineering for aerospace, defense, automotive, high-reliability electronics, automotive, manufacturing or other industries Good understanding/experience of electronic circuits (analogue, digital & power circuits) Experience in electronic fault finding down to component level Strong ability to read/understand technical schematics and wiring diagrams Hands-on lab experience with board bring-up, run tests, troubleshooting, basic documentation rework, and instrumentation Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, etc) Experience with programming/scripting languages (C, C++, Python, LabVIEW, NI Test Stand) and ability to develop and maintain test software – Big Bonus Benefits Package: 401K retirement plan Paid time off, paid holidays Maternity and paternity leave Health, dental, and eye-care insurance And many more If you are interested in the above exciting Electrical Test Engineering position and think you have the skills required to join the successful company and to progress well, please don’t hesitate to apply and contact Frank Kanjanda on fkanjanda@pgrec.com or call +1 737-220-2273 for more information.
