Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation and maintenance tasks. Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work. Work on construction sites or renovation projects, ensuring all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safety and quality. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation systems. Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical installations with strict adherence to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications. Ensure all work complies with local regulations and safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. Hands-on experience with low voltage and high voltage wiring installations. Familiarity with NEC regulations governing electrical installations for safety compliance. Ability to operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools like drills and saws efficiently. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on safety protocols. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation environments. Skilled in using testing equipment such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical circuits. Strong handyman skills including basic frame carpentry can be an asset for certain installation tasks. Ability to read schematics accurately and translate technical drawings into physical installations or repairs.
