Advanced Telemetrics is in the business of solving unique measurement challenges. ATi specializes in rotating telemetry systems that are used to acquire physical and electrical measurements from rotating shafts or machinery. Our systems are used in many exciting applications that include instrumentation for race cars, helicopters, and a wide variety of military vehicles. Applications include acquire in-vehicle torque measurements from various types automobiles, aircraft and ships. Job Title- Electronics Technician Experience - 4 to 10 years minimum. Education - Technical Associate Degree or equivalent. This is a ground floor opportunity to join our fast growing firm. ATi is seeking an Electronics Technician for our Dayton, Ohio area facility. The successful applicant will contribute to the check-out and production of new telemetry products and subsystems and assist with the production efforts of current and new products. Tasks will include but not be limited to: Testing, troubleshooting and check-out of analog/digital/RF circuitry, working with production personnel, interfacing with co-workers of all levels and other activities as directed. The candidate will be working alongside our engineering team which will be an incredible learning experience. Desired Skills and Expertise The ideal candidate will be experienced in analog/digital circuitry and manufacturing support. Familiarity with RF circuitry is a plus. Specifics skills include: · Understanding of the design and implementation of analog and digital circuitry. · Capability to troubleshoot miniature analog circuits and power supplies. · Experience with microprocessor and FPGA applications, embedded software flow, programming - PIC & other processors. · Ability to multitask and work with concurrent projects · Assist with development, assembly and debug of circuit boards using surface mount components · Capability to wear multiple hats while working as a team member in a small business environment · Aptitude for fully and accurately documenting work · Willingness to learn our processes and to work as part of a team and accept input from all levels Desired Experience includes · Experience with analog, digital, discrete, RF, microprocessor and FPGA circuitry. · Power supplies, noise, isolation, active/passive filtering · Understanding component specifications. · Trouble shooting · Various sensors (temperature, pressure, vibration, strain, etc.) · SMT technology · RF theory - experience with antenna knowledge, path loss effects, and non-linear effects is highly desirable · Manufacturing integration Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) 401(k) 3% Match Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
