With a fall 2025 enrollment of more than 14,000 students, the College is recognized for its commitment to teaching excellence and for producing graduates who earn Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees, as well as college credit certificates. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community. What You’ll Do Faculty responsibilities include instruction, curriculum, service and support of college policies and procedures, and professional development. Starting salaries for instructional faculty positions are competitive. Who We’re Looking For The Elementary Education Faculty must have: A Master's degree (Doctorate preferred) in elementary education. Or a master’s degree in early childhood education, educational curriculum development, and/or field related to education and instruction plus 18 graduate semester hours in elementary education. A valid Florida Professional Educator Certification(s) (Not endorsements) in one or more of the following: Elementary Education (K-6), Reading (K-12), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Exceptional Student Education (K-12), and/or Reading (K-12). Completed at least 3 years of successful, relevant prekindergarten through grade 12 teaching, student services, or school administration experience.
