Position Type: Teaching (Elementary) Date Posted: 3/4/2026 Location: Oaklawn Elementary Date Available: 2026-2027 Closing Date: OPEN UNTIL FILLED Elementary Teacher: Oaklawn Elementary School is seeking an Elementary R.I.S.E. Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. With support from the ESSDACK Resilience Team, this teacher will support students who have been long term suspended or expelled, as determined or assigned by a hearing committee. Alongside a paraprofessional, this teacher will provide academic instruction and social emotional support to help students transition back into their classrooms.Employee benefits include uncategorized PTO, paid parental leave and we accept PDC for salary placement. Job ID 130 Salary is based on experience and education: $50,003 - $85,354 The regular teacher contract is currently 184.5 days. ESOL Endorsement Requirements: Elementary classroom teachers, as well as middle and high school language arts teachers, are required to obtain an ESOL endorsement by the end of their third year with the district. Requirements for obtaining the endorsement are determined by the Kansas State Department of Education and may include coursework and/or passing the appropriate exam. To support this process, the district pro
