Responsibilities: Knowledge of and experience in hands-on and integrated learning, as well as early childhood development and literacy skills; be highly motivated, hard-working, collaborative, enthusiastic about working with young children, energetic and flexible; demonstrate a desire to learn; and show initiative. Have a strong pedagogical background and be invested in collaborating with colleagues and working closely with early elementary-aged students. In addition to having the required professional and educational background, we seek an enthusiastic, energetic candidate. Build a joyful and nurturing classroom community that sparks intellectual curiosity and growth for all students, and demonstrates clear and affirming classroom management. Collaborate with one’s grade level team to plan and teach an integrated, mission-aligned, early elementary program, including literacy, writing, math, science, social studies, and social emotional learning. Supervise children in the classroom, during recesses and dismissal, and on field trips. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Elementary Education or related degree required. Master's degree required. Hebrew proficiency. 2 years of teaching
