Develop lesson plans that are aligned with grade level TEKS and coincide with student IEP Provide appropriate grade-level curriculum aligned with grade-level TEKS. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the learning styles of students Track and evaluate student progress Ability to establish and maintain a well-managed, risk-free and nurturing classroom environment Consistent communication with parents about academic concerns and behavior Ability to work effectively and maintain positive relationships with administrators, colleagues, office staff, students, parents and community Continuous growth and development in grade-level content area Desire to seek advice when needed to make informed decisions Attend meeting, conferences and professional development trainings as required Model and instruct positive character traits Arrive on-time to school and assigned duties
