Job Description
Elementary Summer Programming - Specialist Elementary specialist teachers (drama, art, science, and physical education teachers) are welcome to apply for the 2026 Summer Elementary Program. Teachers will develop lessons and provide high-quality instruction that supports students’ foundational learning and interpersonal skills. Teacher applicants must be Massachusetts-licensed as an elementary educator and be well-versed in best practices in instruction for all students, a variety of assessment strategies, and effective interpersonal skills. Teachers will collaborate with peers to develop effective project-based lessons and instructional content aligned to areas of academic need. The program will be held from July 6 to August 6, 2026. Program times are Mondays - Thursdays from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm for a total of 20 days. In addition to the instructional time, teachers will participate in professional development, leading up to the program. Teachers will be compensated for 2 hours for the setup and breakdown of the program.
