JOB DESCRIPTION: Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Biology or related field Responsibilities: Closely communicate with Laboratory manager to report and discuss existing problems and preventing action. Assure instrument function well, communicate with related companies for instrument maintenance. Review and maintain transporting system for gamete and embryo specimen. Perform daily of QC. Check media expiration date and maintain the medium log. Check arrival of laboratory supplies and record storage. Prepare and review the patients charts before the cycle starts. Activate the patient account in embryo option when new cryopreservation. Embryology and Andrology: Perform IVF- procedures in embryology laboratory independently as following: Cryopreservation and thawing of embryos at varying stages of development by vitrification. Perform IVF related sperm preparation. Document all aspects of laboratory in the appropriate written and computerized transcription format (includes data involving clinical embryology/andrology, lab equipment monitoring, media and supply testing and embryo/sperm cryo storage) Adherence to all protocols to maintain quality control. Enrollment and participation in proficiency testing. Check LN2 tank and refill LN2. Check Alarm system. Prepare daily schedule. Perform daily QC. Assistant update and maintain records. Responsible for accurate and correctly entering data into eIVF. Prepare culture dishes. Prepare IVF and OR media. Check arrival of laboratory supplies and record storage. Receiving and transporting sperm/oocyte/ embryo samples. Packaging and shipping biopsy samples.
