Emergency Department Registrar

Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registrar to join their team. The primary responsibilities include greeting patients, triaging, collecting demographics, verifying insurance information, and completing the registration process in the ER, utilizing EPIC. This role requires mobility to go bedside and a desire to work with a Level 1 Trauma Center. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and triage as needed. Collect patient demographics and verify insurance information. Complete the patient registration process in the Emergency Room using EPIC. Assist patients bedside and maintain mobility around the facility. Qualifications Strong insurance verification skills or registration experience. Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience working face-to-face in a healthcare or hospital setting. Experience with EPIC is strongly preferred, but training will be provided. Schedule 11pm-7:30 am with rotating weekends Training Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
